All In, The Allen Iverson Charity Game

Mall of Asia Arena – The 1996 NBA top pick and former NBA MVP Allen “The Answer” Iverson is back in Manila for a charity game and basketball clinics for the benefit of Kagawad Kalinga.

Together with Streetball legends “Ball Up” (formerly And1) like “The Professor, “AO”, “The Air Up There”. “Mr. Afrika”, “Special FX” and more.

The game was held at Mall of Asia Arena and Allen Iverson will be coaching Team Gawad Kalinga featuring players from ‘Ball Up’ and players and legends from the PBA like Renren “The Rainman” Ritualo, Jerry “The Defense Minister” Codiniera and Willie “The Thriller” Miller” going up against Team PC Worx consist of UAAP/NCAA players like UAAP Season 77 MVP Kiefer Ravena from Ateneo, King Archer Jeron Teng of DLSU, Mac Belo (FEU), Jethroy Rosario from the UAAP 77 champion team NU Bulldogs, Thirdy Ravena (ADMU), Ola Adeogun (San Beda) and more and was coached by Grand Slam coach Tim Cone.

The event starts with a performance from the kids of Gawad Kalinga, followed by Chris Lawrence singing the US National anthem and the kids from Gawad Kalinga singing the Philippine anthem.

After calling the players and coaches. It was shown in the big screen to everyone a few highlights of Allen Iverson’s career.

Team Gawad Kalinga started strong and amazed the audience of the nasty slam dunks and fancy dribbling skills but Team PCWorx led by Kiefer Ravena fought back and keep the distance.

During the halftime, Philippine Basketball legend Robert Jaworski had a few words for the audience and Allen Iverson. Allen Iverson had some photo-ops with lucky fans as well and a three point competition.

On the second half, Team PCWorkx managed to cut the lead and tie the game at 96 all, with the help from former PBA import DerMarr Johnson.

In the final 10 seconds, it was Kiefer Ravena who managed to do a tough lay-up to give the lead and win the game for Team PCWorx 98-96.

DeMarr Johnson led Team PCWorx with 24 points followed by Kiefer Ravena and Jeron Teng both with 16 points,
