Los Angeles – For the first time, boxing fans witnessed two of boxing’s biggest star and attraction Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. as they went face to face on stage at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles during the press conference to kick-off the much awaited ‘Super Fight’ to be held on May 2nd.

“This fight is very important to boxing history,” according to the Pacquiao and he also mentioned that he doesn’t want the fight for the money but for the fans.

“The most important thing is the name of the Lord. The name of the Lord will be glorified. I want to let the people know that there is a God who can raise people from nothing into something. And that’s me. I came from nothing into something.” Pacquiao said thanking God and remembering from where he started to where he is right now.

“I’ve never wanted to win a fight so bad in my life.” Mayweather said.

“It’s all about the best fighting the best. And Pacquiao is one of the best fighters of this era” according to Mayweather Jr. who praised his opponent.

Ticket price was also announced during the presscon. Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe said that the ticket price will range from $1,500 to $7,500.
