Singapore – The Philippine basketball team gets win number two as they dominated the Malaysian basketball team, 100-48, Thursday in the 28th Southeast Asian Games Basketball tournament.

Former DLSU standout Almond Vosotros led the Philippine team with 21 points followed by NU’s Jeth Roy Rosario who contributed 18 points and 7 rebounds.

Sinag Pilipinas dominated the Malaysian team from the start of the game and hands them it’s first tournament loss.

American Coach Tab Baldwin is happy with his team’s performance compared with their opening win against Indonesia.

“They played a lot better, they played with the right mentality, the right purpose” said Baldwin.

Sinag Pilipinas will be facing Timor-Leste on Friday at 6pm.
